ASK AN ASTRONAUT!
Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity?
As part of the 2025 Australian Girl Guide Jamboree, you could be one of the lucky Girl Guides to ask a question directly to astronauts aboard the International Space Station during the Jamboree Closing Ceremony!
Thanks to a special radio link being set up by ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station), we’ll be talking to real astronauts — live from orbit — and we want your questions.
Submit an original question that you would love to ask an astronaut aboard the ISS.
Be creative, curious, and thoughtful — we’re looking for questions that are inspiring, scientific, or just plain fascinating!
Submit your question by Saturday 16 August 2025.
If You’re Chosen:
You’ll be invited to ask your question live via radio during the Jamboree Closing Ceremony.
Your question and voice will be transmitted into space and back — and heard around the world!
You’ll need to complete:
A NASA Talent Release Form
The standard Girl Guides Australia Media Release Form
Up to 12 questions will be asked depending on timing so keep sending them in.
Fill in the form on this page, or hit the button below to open the form on a new tab.
