Girl Guides from Across Australia Gather for Bush 2 Beach Jamboree
Hundreds of Girl Guides from across Australia and the world will descend on Murwillumbah Showgrounds this September for the much-anticipated Bush 2 Beach Jamboree 2025, a week-long celebration of youth leadership, outdoor adventure, and community. Hosted by Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT, the Jamboree brings together girls aged 10–17 from around the globe for an unforgettable experience of camping, skill-building, and cross-cultural exchange.
"Bush 2 Beach showcases everything that makes Guiding so powerful—girl-led learning, outdoor challenge, friendship, and resilience," said Jo Tonon, State Commissioner of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT. "It’s a reminder that young people, when supported and empowered, shape the future of their communities."
The event is open to media and special guests for select guided visits. Journalists are encouraged to contact Jamie Shepheard, jamie@girlguides-nswactnt.org.au. 0488 085 578 to arrange interviews, photo ops, or attend a showcase day.
