Murwillumbah is Hosting the Girl Guide Australian Jamboree

Murwillumbah has welcomed over 1,300 Girl Guides and volunteer leaders from across the country for the Girl Guide Australian Jamboree from Sunday 28 September to Sunday 5 October.

The Jamboree has transform Murwillumbah into a hub of adventure, learning, and friendship. Over the course of the week, Guides will take part in an exciting program of activities, from outdoor challenges to cultural exchanges, all designed to build confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships.

The Girl Guide movement extends its sincere thanks to the local suppliers, businesses, council staff, and volunteers who are working alongside the organising team to bring this event to life. Their generosity, expertise, and community spirit are vital to creating an unforgettable experience for participants.

Hosting the Jamboree is a wonderful opportunity for Murwillumbah to showcase its warm hospitality, natural beauty, and vibrant community. Residents can expect a lively and positive atmosphere as Guides explore and enjoy all the region has to offer.
